For vehicle owners using Veecu
Terms of Service
Last updated 4 October 2026. Version 2026-10-04.2.
Veecu connects you with independent, verified service providers for your vehicle, collects payment safely, and keeps your vehicle's documents and service history in order. These terms explain what we do, what you agree to, and how problems are resolved.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Quanta Global Tech Ltd. (RC 2011263), 2-7 Tinuola Close, Akowonjo, Lagos, Nigeria, which operates Veecu ("Veecu", "we", "us"). They apply whenever you use the Veecu app or website (the "Service"). By creating an account you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use Veecu for a company or fleet, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
2. What Veecu does, and what it doesn't
- Veecu is a platform. We match your service request with independent service providers (mechanics, garages and other vehicle-care businesses), check their quotes, collect your payment and help resolve problems.
- Service providers are independent businesses, not Veecu employees or agents. The service provider who does the work is responsible for the work itself, its quality and any warranty they offer.
- We verify providers before they join (business details and documents) and keep checking them through ratings, reviews and complaints. Verification reduces risk; it is not a guarantee of any provider's work.
- Document reading, price checks, reminders and suggestions in the app, including those made with artificial intelligence, are aids. Check important details yourself. Reminders can be late or missed; you remain responsible for renewing your vehicle's licences, insurance and permits on time.
3. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date, including the vehicles you add. Only add vehicles you own or are authorised to manage.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud, or puts other users at risk. Where possible we tell you why first.
4. Requests, quotes and bookings
- When you send a request, matched service providers may quote. Veecu checks quotes before you see them and may send a quote back to the service provider for changes.
- A quote shows each item, the service provider's price, Veecu's service charge and the total. It is valid for the time shown. Nothing is charged until you approve a quote and pay.
- Approving and paying for a quote creates a booking between you and that service provider, arranged through Veecu.
- Describe the problem honestly. If the service provider finds more work is needed, they must send an updated quote for you to approve before doing it.
5. Payments and the service charge
- Pay only through Veecu. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Paystack. Veecu does not store your full card details.
- Veecu's service charge pays for matching, quote checks, payment protection and support. It is shown before you pay.
- We hold your payment and release the service provider's share after the job is completed and confirmed, or as decided in a dispute.
- Never pay a service provider directly or outside the app. Payments made outside Veecu are not protected, and we cannot help recover them.
6. Contact goes through Veecu
To protect both sides, vehicle owners and service providers don't share personal phone numbers through Veecu. Our support and operations team handles contact about timing, access and any issue during a job. Message us in the app at any time.
7. Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel free of charge before you pay. After payment, a cancellation fee may apply. The app shows the exact fee and refund before you confirm.
- Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Banks can take several working days to show them.
- If a service provider cancels or fails to turn up, you get a full refund of what you paid for that job.
8. Problems and disputes
- If something goes wrong, raise it in the app (Get help, or Report a problem on the job) as soon as possible and within 7 days of the job being marked ready.
- While a dispute is open, the service provider is not paid for that job. Veecu reviews the evidence from both sides, including photos and messages, and decides: no action, a partial refund, a full refund, or cancellation.
- Our decision is final within the Veecu Service. It does not take away any legal right you have, including under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.
9. Reviews
Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. We may remove reviews that are false, abusive, contain personal information or break the law.
10. What you must not do
- Use Veecu for anything unlawful, including vehicles that are stolen or not yours to service.
- Upload documents that are forged or belong to someone else.
- Harass, threaten or discriminate against service providers or Veecu staff.
- Try to get around Veecu by arranging or paying for work directly with a service provider you met through Veecu.
- Interfere with the Service, attempt to access other people's data, or copy the Service.
11. Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
- Otherwise, Veecu is not liable for the work a service provider does, for loss or damage caused by a service provider, or for indirect losses such as lost earnings. Claims about the work itself are between you and the service provider; Veecu helps through the dispute process and can refund money held for the job.
- Veecu's total liability to you for any claim about a booking is limited to the amount you paid through Veecu for that booking.
- We work to keep the Service available and accurate but provide it "as is". It may sometimes be unavailable.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as the Service changes. If a change is significant, we ask you to agree to the new version in the app before you continue. The date and version are shown at the top.
13. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we can't resolve a complaint together, either side may refer it to mediation at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse before going to court. The courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction.
